Casa dell’Abate Naldi can be your home for an unique timeless escape.
Start your leisurely day having breakfast in the hanging garden, with homemade bread and jam amidst the scent of flowers. After spend some time reading, playing the piano or just relaxing and then go for a walk, or a hike , or take a ride on a vintage Vespa in the historical village or in the beautiful Valdorcia.
A few steps from the house there’s Palazzo Chigi, the Town Hall and the XVI century Italian garden Horti Leonini, where you can get married with civil rite, and the church Collegiata where Catholic marriages are celebrated.
If you prefer a symbolic ceremony Casa dell’Abate Naldi little hanging garden offers you a perfect intimacy.
Photo Shoots , Workshops and Wine Tastings
The rooms of the House represent a suitable scenery for photo shootings, such as the old kitchen with its large fireplace or the drawing room with the original terracotta floor and the doors and cupboards with the XVII century decoration, not to mention the little garden on the first floor, a “ hortus conclusus” in the historical centre of San Quirico , just a few steps from the Church Collegiata, Palazzo Chigi-Zondadari and the XVI century Italian Garden called Horti Leonini .
You can rent the space for your workshop or to organize a wine tasting, for which we can provide tables and wine glasses and prepare a snack or a coffee break.
Practical Info
The House is in the historical centre of San Quirico in the limited traffic area (ZTL) . The access is allowed for loading and unloading but we don’t have a private parking. Free parking is available only 200 mt away, just outside the Town walls.
Inside there are various spaces that you can rent for private events.
On the ground floor there’s the open courtyard and the arcade , 4 small dining rooms and a fully equipped professional kitchen.
On the first floor ( piano nobile) there are 2 drawing rooms of 70 and 40 sqm, divided by the bright entrance at the arrival of the staircase, the dining room with a travertine fireplace and the 300 sqm hanging garden.
